5MP AI 2.8mm 40m IR IP67 Turret Dome with Starlight & Mic
The OPTIC-6s-DF5-IO-W/B-2.8 is 5MP 2.8mm fixed lens A turret Dome with basic starlight technology. It has a Smart IR Viewing Distance of up to 30m and 120dB rated True WDR. Basic starlight technology offers low-light performance for applications with a minimum illumination of 0.005 to 0.006 lux, ideal for moderately dark areas such as those with streetlight coverage. With True 120db WDR on the camera, it helps provide even illumination to all areas within a scene. AI SSA (Smart Scene Adaption) functionality identifies the scene condition and adjusts image setting to provide the best possible image.
Utilizing a Ambarella SoC the OPTIC-6s-DF5-IO-B/W-2.8 has H.265 compression (High Efficiency Video Coding) as standard, H.265 was developed to improve HDD storage requirements and reduce bandwidth consumption. For example, at an identical level of visual quality, the H.265 codec enables video to be compressed to a file about half the size (or half the bit rate) of H.264.
We are delighted to announce that the 6th Series in the Optic range now includes the much favoured Smart AI features such as SMD Plus and Human/Vehicle IVS detection which improves the accurate detection of human and vehicles, helping to reduce false alarms by up to 95%. This camera is ONVIF compliant meaning seamless compatibility with 3rd party recorders and VMS’s.

The OPTIC-6s Series includes deep learning algorithm, intelligent perimeter protection technology can recognize detect human and vehicles. Ideal for restricted areas (such as pedestrian or vehicle only areas) false alarm detection events are greatly reduced by up tp 95%, due to the cameras’ ability to filter out common causes of false alarms such as lighting changes, wind, leaves and animals.
SMD Plus
With intelligent algorithm,ICR Smart Motion Detection technology can categorize the targets that trigger motion detection and filter the motion detection alarm triggered by non-concerned targets to realize effective and accurate alarm.
AI SSA
AI SSA (Scene Self-adaption) technology is based on deep learning algorithm that can intelligently identify multiple scenes and adjust to their optimal images. AI SSA can identify multiple scenes such as rain, snow, fog, backlight and flicker, making the camera suitable for more indoor and outdoor application scenarios. SSA will adjust the image parameters such as exposure, lightness, or other specific image features to capture the highest quality images.
Smart H.265+ & Smart H.264+
With advanced scene-adaptive rate control algorithm, smart encoding technology realizes the higher encoding efficiency than H.265 and H.264, provides high-quality video, and reduces the cost of storage and transmission.
